How People of the Twelve Signs of the Zodiac View their World
THE TWELVE SUN SIGNS
The sun sign represents how an individual views his or her world…in other words, what his or her priorities are in life. The key for peace and harmony lies in this understanding.
Here is a sampling of what was revealed by the participants:
The Aries participants agreed that they are competitive by nature, either with themselves or others. They confided that their goal in life is to do something totally unique that no one else has done. The parents of Aries children might find it helpful to know that all participants of this group agreed that if they know at the beginning that they are not going to be good at a particular activity they will not even move a muscle to give it a try.
The Taurus participants all agreed that feeling safe and secure is their number one priority. They all seemed to identify with the word “paranoid”, the reasoning being that if safety and security was such a priority wouldn’t it be a logical conclusion to assume that someone or something could come and take it away. They compared their personal world to a circle and people were either “in the circle, or out of it”. The people who were not considered part of the inner circle were of no concern to them.
The Gemini participants all agreed that their attention span was as about as long as a three year old’s. They are turned on by information in any form and identified with the fact that magazines could almost be considered a part of their home décor. They hate people who say one thing and do another and are very often guilty of the same. They also agreed that they have an “evil twin living inside of them.” Appearances were also important to Gemini’s which would further confirm their rather embarrassing reputation for being superficial.
The Cancer participants are always worried that some kind of disaster could happen at any time. It seems that not even living in the middle of a dust bowl could stop them from believing that a tsunami could happen at any minute. Is it any wonder why they feel compelled to buy in bulk as if another Katrina were right around the corner? They all agreed they tend toward moodiness and that they make decisions based on their gut reactions to those moods.
The Leo participants have a “kingdom” mentality. They are the king or queen of the zodiac and they make the rules. The rules are very important in a Leo’s kingdom and if ever someone breaks those rules it’s “off with your head” and forever banished from the kingdom. If a mistake of theirs is witnessed by an audience they die of embarrassment
The Virgo participants, male or female, identified strongly with being Cinderella or Cinderfella. They are always in a state of perpetual servitude. It is natural for them to want to do for others, however constant lack of appreciation by others can cause inner rage to develop. They all agreed that appreciation goes a long way with them. They admire power because it is the perfect antidote to their own perception of their imagined inferior status.
Libra participants said they are conscious of their struggle with commitments. Just the idea of hammering a nail into a pristine wall can cause a major anxiety attack for them. It is the fear of making a wrong decision that encourages their indecisive behavior. The idea of marriage for a Libra is actually more pleasurable than the sacrament itself. They all knew they were excellent strategists and were aware of their ability to charm people into doing what they want done.
Scorpio participants felt that couldn’t trust anybody and felt that nobody was as committed as they are. When Scorpios agree to meet you someplace they mean it, unlike the other eleven signs of the zodiac. They all agreed that control was a number one priority for them and they were aware of their obsessive tendencies. They stated with humor, that the idea of revenge gives them a warm and fuzzy feeling inside
Sagittarius participants informed the group that ideas turn them on… and the bigger the better. In their mind’s eye, they envision one great big conveyer belt chock full of wonderful ideas ready for the picking, however they all felt that they needed the assistance of an authority figure to approve of these ideas before going ahead with them. They all were aware of their tendency to verbally blurt out their unpremeditated opinions.
Capricorn participants agreed they suffered from shyness as children and became more comfortable in their own skin as they became older. Capricorns are quicker than other signs to notice when rules are not being followed and they are big worriers. When asked what they admired most in the world thy answered, “things that withstand the test of time.” It was established that these traditionalists will always come home for the holidays.
Aquarian participants felt most like themselves when they are participating in humanitarian and group activities because of their aversion to “getting too personal”. They dislike being pigeonholed and always need an escape route. They all agreed that they suffered from claustrophobia in one form or another. In a movie theatre they will scan the auditorium looking for the exit signs.
Pisces participants all agreed that they needed alone time. Many of the participants identified with the need for anonymity and confessed to stealing away for some private time without having to report to even the closest of family members. They will always give others enough rope…even if it means the rope will result in hanging themselves.
