Tips for determining your skin tone – warm, neutral or cold?
Knowing how to determine your skin tone and apply that knowledge to your selection cosmetics and clothes can bring the best of their appearance. We all know that when a particular color looks very good for us, while others seem to leave us looking ashen color and exhausted.
Skin tones are divided into three classifications are: Heat, cold and neutral. Here are some easy steps to help deterimine your skin tone.
Vena test – in natural light, look inside of your wrist, and if the veins appear greenish this indicates that they have a yellow background and therefore would have a warm skin tone. The veins appear more blue indicate a cool skin tone.
Pony tail test – Remove all your hair back away of the face in a ponytail or a headband and thoroughly cleanse the face. Place a towel or white cloth around the neck and shoulders, if the face looks more yellow this indicate a warm skin tone, while a blue reflection that would be a cool skin tone.
Silver / Gold Proof – If you think you look better than the silver into gold, this indicates a warm skin tone. People with cool skin tones usually look better in silver. You can also use a cloth of gold and silver in this test, maintain a sample of the cloth of gold under the chin, it does make you look healthy, ash or none. Try the same with silver tissue, what do you see? a bluish or shades of yellow?
Natural genetic eye color and hair – As a general rule, usually people with blue eyes, green or gray hair, black or brown has a cool skin tone. In addition, fresh skin tones will have a tinge of pink or pink. Those people with brown eyes, black or color hazelnut and have blond hair black, brown, blond, red or strawberry are usually have a warm skin tone and has a golden hue or apricot. However, there are always exceptions to the rule when it comes to your skin tone deterime the color of his hair and eyes.

Cool Skin Tone – Consider rich true colors. These include black, navy, red, shocking pink, raspberry and deep rich Emerald Green, Royal Blue plums or pure black. Also used pastels ice cream instead of a lighter color. cool skin tones should avoid beige, orange and gold.
Hot-Skin Tone Consider crunchy earth colors or muted. Usually people with warm skin tones look great in sage green, gold, mochas, and bronzes. In an attempt softer peach, apricot yellow.
Neutral Skin Tone – luckily for you, all colors look good however, as indicated above the neutral skin tones influence one way or another, so while a warm color can look great on you a cool color can look fabulous.
Selecting the right colors based on your skin tone can add much to your overall appearance. The right color can add shine to your skin and general being the wrong color while you can leave your skin looking ashen and pale.
