Hurricane Felicia game of Hawaii has been downgraded to a tropical storm. There are still emergency preparedness to anticipate possible changes and to wait for the flush floods and torrential rains. As a member of the Community Emergency Response Team CERT have been aware of the concerted efforts of volunteers and government agencies to be prepared for the worst. I must say I'm pretty impressed with it! Given the disaster of Katrina lack of organization and experience of Hurricane Iniki hit Kauai '92 I think we well prepared as possible.
With the hope that Felicia is devastating effects of this race and we can consider the practice a call to individual preparation! I am a firm believer in preparing for the worst and pray for the best. We in Hawaii always the potential of hurricanes on our way, and the activities of the crust of the earth around the islands that earthquakes can result in smaller or larger.
I do not know about the challenges that could be confronted where they live, but I think in any case, it is wise to have some kind of emergency set-up. This means that excess water, food, batteries, a transistor radio and medicines.
The Moon in Aries

When I am grateful I am focusing my mind on what is good and great in my life. When you that I am raising my energy level and I am more connected to my true inner self and the divine nature. I will be more in tune, and took that energy home and attract more of the good things in my life! And that feels … good!
Why do not you sit with the famous magazine of you, I hope I've already convinced they use regularly, and select the point of consciousness in the direction of appreciation and gratitude. Can allow to flow freely through what you're grateful for all in your life or you can focus on different areas and work your way through looking in the areas of family, relationships, friends, work, health, wealth, and living situation.
I am very grateful for all the good people working hard here in Hawaii all week to be as safe as possible for greater good of us all. I am grateful to be part of a group of volunteers who are willing to give of themselves for others. I am grateful that the worst of a hurricane is not happening and pray that everything will be safe!

If the moon affects the ocean…can it affect plate tectonics?
I saw a tv program about the moon and how it creates a buldge in the ocean (high and low tides)…how come the moon doesn’t affect the land? Or does it…?
The tides do affect land as well as water. The continents rise by as much as 55 cm (less than 2 feet) when the Moon is directly overhead or on the exact opposite side of the planet. However, the tidal effects on water are much more noticeable because water, being a fluid, is free to move in response to the shifting position of the Moon relative to the Earth’s surface; this is why the ocean tides move relative to land.
