Can you find the feathers, daisies and plates in the ocean?
Yes, you can certainly disappear. But are not what you think. All they are types of coral, which resemble feathers, daisies or dinner plates. There are also other types of coral that look like many other things!
Tales feather bed and Oatmeal Bread
One of my fondest memories of childhood is a huge feather bed grandmother. As a kid, my brother I used to play and its lumpy mattress, and as I was too young to go on my own, my brother must get on all fours, and left me up to his strong back to the bed elevated. The bed seemed to eat. I lie on their backs on the white puffy blanket that smelled of violets, rose petals, and duck fluff. There were moments that we could not see because each layer would be many.
Once I was on my back when I changed the feathers and stopped me. I started crying with fear and mourn the frustration, all because he could not break free from the clutches of the bed, and to add injury to insult, my brother sprained his arm while jumping of bed too fast as he ran to tell Grandma that was stuck. This happened often, my brother and I caught more than a bed for Grandma feathers and grandfather.
An obsession that we had at home was his grandmother's oatmeal bread. He cooked it two breads-one for my brother and I, and one for she and her grandfather. Never has been like Grandma's bread. For a child, the forty minutes it took to bake like hours. Every five minutes we cry out, wondering if the bread was done, and she always responded with what appeared were the only words I knew when it was time for baking bread: Shoo, you two!
When he finally left the bread from the oven, knew that the sky should be as it smells. Oaten, butter, nutmeg and brown sugar, with "lots of love Grandma, spoken as we would sit and wait for it to cool. He was soon pursued shouting with mock anger, but only laughed and ran to Grandma's bedroom. I could not believe it was in the room with the bed and bread! I cornered him and rushed to the wonderful bread, but as I did to my brother last shot and got into bed the pen. He knew he could not get there on my own. I jumped, I ran, I pulled the quilt in a desperate attempt to try to slide on the ground, but hung on. He dug, right in the center of the bed where I could only see the top of the head. I could hear him chewing until he heard the footsteps of his grandmother into the room. He hid the bread soft and warm in the hole area the feather bed. Jumped as fast as he could, as they both looked at Grandma in all innocence. Asked what were doing, but both of them walking next to her and said one word, ashamed of what my brother had done. I felt somehow it was my fault too.
The next time we went to Grandma's, we noticed a spot of butter on her dildo. She sat my brother and me and told us that Grandpa was not allowed to sleep in the bed of feathers. He had been bad. She said the grandfather had taken a piece of bread with butter and oats had put in pens and all the quilt and it smelled like dead ducks. Grandfather arrived with his sleeping bag. "I can not sleep in the big bed of feathers no more. The grandmother says I did a bad smell." Both of us managed to conceal the subtle smile in their faces.
my brother's shoulders began to move up and down like the tears of the size of the raindrops ran down his cheeks. Once my brother's lost, I began wailing and sobbing. We confessed everything and told them he felt so bad for Grandpa, but Grandma laughed, saying she knew all the time, she only wanted to say that ourselves.
She hugged us both and said he still would not let the dream of the grandfather of the bed, "because He makes the bed smells bad anyway. "Since then the world's most delicious dish was called Feather Bed Oatmeal Bread.
Feather Bed Oatmeal Bread
(3 loaves)
1 / 3 cup butter
A cup of brown sugar
Three cups of water
1 ¾ cups quick oats
1 package rapid rise yeast
½ cup warm water
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups whole wheat flour
4-5 cups unbleached flour
Bring 3 cups water to boil and dissolve the brown sugar and butter in the boiling water. Once everything is dissolved, pour this mixture on oats. Stir well and let the mixture cool oatmeal until lukewarm.
Put your yeast in ½ cup warm water and stir until dissolved. Then add the yeast mixture to the oatmeal mixture cooled.
Take 3 cups whole wheat flour and salt and combine it with the oatmeal and baking with their eclectic mix mixer.
Then add the unbleached flour one cup at a time to your oatmeal wheat mixture until the dough does not stick. This should done by hand and not the mixer. Do not knead. Place mixture in a covered container and let rise for about 1 hour.
Divide dough into three equal parts, the way 3 loaves and place in greased loaf pans. Cover and place, almost twice the size, about an hour.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 min. Brush tops with melted butter.
Be sure to keep a distance from the feather bed.
