I made a pandora battery and magic memory stick on my cfwenabled psp but i wanted to hack a friends psp whose psp is ofw 5.50 model 1000 phat. Will I be able to hack it pandora style? If not, is tehre any other way?
A pandora battery and magic memory stick can be used to hack every psp-1000 that was ever produced as well as 95 percent of 2000s. The only psps that cant be hacked with pandora are 3000s and 2000s that came from the factory with firmware 4.20. If a psp-2000 came from the factory with 4.20 firmware then that means it has a Ta-088v3 motherboard which does not support ipl flashing. 3000s have Ta-090v3 motherboard which also does not support ipl flashing. The best way to figure out if a psp can be hacked with pandora is to just try it, if it is a supported model the psp will autoboot when the battery and MMS are inserted. If it is a model that does not support pandora, absolutely nothing will happen when pandora battery and MMS are inserted.
