Metal Heart
risks or replacement tissue heart valve metal in a person with lupus erythematosus?
The risks are the same for someone without LES Metal Valve: permanent coumadin to thin the blood, the risk of bleeding from the valve tissue: no coumadin, but could possibly be carried out in 1910-1915 years, requiring another operation of the valve. Us that current tissue valves last longer than the old [that was conducted in 1910-1915 years] but have not been around long enough to know for sure yet.
