The best way to glue together Polymer Clay?
I started making polymer clay charms. I bought the special polymer adhesive to bake with. I did not use any glue and my clay is not baked yet. I kept my charms for a few days in a zip lock bag and stuck the pieces seem pretty good, I can not get it off. If you bake, the pieces are falling? What is the best thing to do? I do not want to try it and then having to start again.
First what type of clay is used? I use usually premolars and the use of liquid clay pieces together make sure good, I also use glue that works very Weldbond well for polymers other items like glue to a wooden base, so before you cook it dries clear and does not burn and will not come off. My best advice for objects small is to not use Sculpey III, the piece is easily broken with little things like the zones. Go ahead and cook and see how, if you try probabky removed to add glue that will have to start again. Another tip is any piece of polymer clay can also be pasted with glue after cooked.
