Thanks To Glasses, I Enjoy the Perfect Autumn Day
There is the autumn now. After all the morning busy with thinking and writing, I had a rest beside the window enjoying the golden sunshine outside. To ease the eyes, I took off the glasses and do some exercises at the same time. Then unconsciously, I began to play my glasses in the hands. The golden world outside, together with the glasses, reminded me of the golden day last autumn.
It was still a wonderful autumn day. I chose to climb the mountain and touched the real autumn that was hardly to get in dull office room. With the first thread of sun light, I got up, worn contact lens and began my journey, taking along some necessities, including a pair of sunglasses, some food for picnic and other things. After a way not short, I reached my destination. I still remembered that there were a great number of people, even including young and old, men and women, and some smiles were shining on their face, just like sunshine in the autumn. Like me, all of them were catching the good time and hugging the Mother Nature.
With the crowds, I began the climbing. It was a long time that I hadn’t climbed mountains, so my feet were a little hurt and legs were tired. After arriving at the top, I was even out of breath, to some extent. Though the whole body felt somewhat fatigued, I appreciated the whole process, indeed.
After the simple meal, I decided to go back, though my will not. The moment the perfect day would end; there was something wrong with my eyes. By mistake, the contact lens was moved and my horizon became a blur. I had to take them off, but searching over my bag all over the necessary box with protection liquid for changing them was disappeared then. I must have forgotten to put it to the bag. At that time, I was in loss totally with a blurred autumn in front of me. Then I began to search the whole bag thoroughly wishing some miracle to strike me. Suddenly, my hands touch little boxes. Here are my glasses. I remembered that mom put it in my bag in my last journey. Thank Goodness!
With the glasses, I got down the mountain gladly. In the orange light of the golden setting sun, I saw the golden leaves smiling toward me, the golden road covered by leaves winding through the land and disappearing in the distance.
