Glass Leaves
When you drink a 16 oz. glass of water how much leaves your body as urine?

It all depends on you–your body size, your amount of activity and how well hydrated you are.

Water gets absorbed in the intestines and is taken to the kidneys, where is filtered numerous times in order to take out nutrients. Water is also used by blood to lower its viscosity.

If you are very dehydrated, it is possible to drink water and not urinate it out at all–at least until your body has had enough to replenish its lost fluids.

And when you do urinate, its not just water, but also waste products, namely ammonia. So if you drink 16 oz. and then urinate 16 oz., there’s been some trade-off. Not all of the 16 oz. output is pure water.

Sorry, I know it’s not a clear answer, but there really isn’t one.

Good luck and good health!
