Flower Bead
I can not find the name of my houseplant. It flowers twice a year with star flowers with red interior opening.?
Regular green leaves pistols with seven white stars on each end. Each star is opened and looks like little five little red balls. The flowers are almost like wax. Beautiful, small. Hopefully I had the image. Any ideas?

If that fails, try calling your local County Extension Service and ask to speak to one of the Master Gardeners there. If it is local to your area, will be able to help. You can even consider a cut to them for identification.

Your Turn flowers Relic Bridal Jewelry
With the wedding season is fast approaching, many brides are asking what going to do with all those flowers, flowers to decorate the church, flowers, rose petals are scattered on the ground pretty little flower girls, mini-arrangements used at the reception … that's a lot of flowers! Some brides donate their flowers to local hospitals and nursing homes, but most just end up throwing them away.
What a waste.
For those of you who want to do something different, here is a way to convert your flowers something that will last a lifetime-or more!
You will like the petals of flowers that can collect, the more fragrant the better. You also need a mortar (or use a blender never think again), a cast iron pot, three or four rusty nails, a corkboard, and a handful of pins.
Gather petals of flowers, and start pounding them in a mortar until have the consistency of wet clay, or run them through the blender with a few drops of water to make a fairly smooth paste. Dump crushed flowers in your cast iron pot with rusty nails, and put aside at least 24 hours to allow some water to evaporate.
Mash the flower goop again, removing nails. Once it reaches the consistency of dough, you can start making accounts. If you have not become a paste of clay type, however, set aside for another day, add a little more water, and puree again.
To do the math, simply roll the dough into its hands to form balls. Do the balls over twice the size of the grains you want, and use their pins affixed to the corkboard. Hang your plate a dry place and turn the balls every day, but it will take 6-8 days for grain to dry completely.
String your accounts as you would any other grain, to make necklaces, bracelets, or even a rosary.
Your flower petals accounts not look like much the first time I finish them, but the more you get them, the smoother and polished it will become. Depending on the type of flowers are used, ranging in color from sandy yellow to mahogany brown.
The real beauty of these accounts is the way they look, however. Each time you wear your body heat will warm up accounts, and will release the aroma their wedding flowers. Any time to remember your wedding day, you can use your accounts, and enjoy your class again.
