Forever in my heart
As Communicator / Healer for animals and their human companions I spend time helping people and working animals due to the loss. You can be the loss of an animal or a human loss. I have written articles on the treatment of "Say Goodbye." The Monday, August 18, 2008, I had the opportunity to recall some of the words he had spoken to others who suffer a loss, I left my 17 ½ years old Siamese cat, named Mocha. One facet of life and death came home to sleep.
Mocha and give me the gift of six months to say goodbye. In February 2008 Mocha was diagnosed with kidney failure. We both agreed his kidneys were challenged and comprehensive assistance began to find the balance between your body now would have. We talked about many things. We talked about the diagnosis, the aging process, and deterioration physical bodies. We agreed that although his results tests showed off, you can choose how they would live. I put emphasis on the living word, reminding myself that it was his decision. In trying to listen my own advice and live in the present with Mocha, she told me not to understand everything. That was a difficult time for both. We were never minced words with each other and were not about to start now. I followed suit and we had many precious moments of life, how she chose to live, the end of its life cycle in this body. A I often wanted to talk, to spend as much time sharing as possible. She said that human beings, in their opinion, spoke with great and reminded me that often. I reminded Mocha is how humans communicate primarily with each other. I heard a very moving "Oh." This time he said nothing. His desire was to be as together, to communicate with the heart.
Mocha Ron and I were classmates since she was eight weeks old. She makes me laugh when attacking the dog and then a moment later, tell me they were putty in his paw. All the memories are pouring in now, after having been stored for this day. I would like start learning to live without his body. As much as my mind knew all that was true for the loss of his physical body, not his spirit and his love, I still wanted longer. I had fired over it. I said goodbye to another part of my life. I felt like I had been beaten by something that I could not see after his death.
With each passing day and each new experience is had, I feel the weight of his departure. I drink my morning coffee without her in my lap. When I'm in bed she is no longer on my pillow or in my chest. When I feed the rest of my animal family, and not to make a special meal designed especially for her. When sitting at night to read, she is not laying on me. I also know now, how so silently, she was there for me through the past 17 ½ years of my life. Each time, the early days, it reminds my heart to feel the love I have for her, and to honor the pain I was talking louder, not to deny it. I want to keep the love we share with life and honor his memory by living and loving what she taught me. Sometimes, to remain silent given the space to watch. ("At last I I discovered Miss Mocha "). That love is always there, even if we can not see. That being surrounded by our fellow animals speaks louder in the silence.
The love that grew while he was in the body, with a last gasp, was released to the universe, no longer held tight for me. His spirit has been merged with the whole, in a way that you can see. Their live is in my thoughts, and in the silent memory are his love. And when you need it most, his memory reminds me to stop over thinking, just to be.
We each have our own experiences of "goodbye." From what I've learned in the work I do, our animals do not want to stop living and preserve their time in the body with us in a vacuum. There is a natural time of mourning and transition to be honored and lived. That time is different for each one of us. Rest of the flow of our lives, not frozen any part of it, gives life to the way of our relationship takes after his death. Let it run its own course, leads us to each new experience as each new love. When we let the launch of its body, is a close future experiences of love that is an election. To continue to open new avenues of love with others is also an option. That choice is different for each one of us. Love is a gift must be fed, in any place that takes us.
