It´s only a generic symbol. Anchor and eagle stand for faith and navy. The cross is the traditional Christian symbol and stands for faith, and the anchor stands for sea. The anchor also stands for hope, because when a ship travels, it always has an anchor with it, since it is believed that there will always be a place that the ship can put that anchor. US navy symbol is different.

Eagle vs. Shark — A Fun Romp
Eagle vs. Shark a New Zealand’s bears little resemblance to Napoleon Dynamite. Whereas the direction in the latter was amateurish and dull, here, director Taika Waititi creates an excitingly movie. Stop-motion animation come into play every now and again, imitating the action on film, and is charming. Never are we bored because Cohen’s direction is as deft and as delicious as the Moo Burgers Lily sells as the film begins. Forget Dynamite. This film is far more explosive!
Indeed, Eagle vs. Shark has two very quirky people you come to love. They’re just plain fun. They’re also intelligent in a dorky sort of way, making them even more endearing. First, we have Jarrod, played brilliantly by Jemaine Clement (HBO’s Flight of the Conchords). Jarrod wants to get back at his old high school nemesis, who he hasn’t seen since the day he graduated some 15 or 20 years ago. He works at a record store, sports a mullet, and seems to be in lust with a sexy blonde who works at a burger shop. He even invites her to a costume party he and his roommate are throwing.
Meanwhile, there’s Lily, equally silly, portrayed equally brilliantly by Loren Horsley. For whatever reason, she developed a crush on Jarrod and so, when the girl who is really invited to the party throws away the invite, Lily picks it up. She also picks up a bunch of strips of paper that read “Lily.” They were used the day before to choose which person had to be fired from the burger shop; the draw was supposed to be fair. But of course it wasn’t.
She proves herself indeed a ‘dangerous person’ at the video game contest at the party, and impresses Jarrod. He tells her she’s “kinda pretty,’ and the rest is history. They take off with Lily’s brother for Jarrod’s home town for the showdown with the ex-bully. What ensues is funny and just plain good fun.
These characters are so well-crafted that we see at least something in them that reminds them of ourselves, and even when the two fight, we hope they will emerge victorious, back together again.
The script is tight, the direction excellent, the acting superb. The laughs just don’t stop, especially at the end. If you want a funny film, see Eagle vs. Shark. And don’t expect Napoleon Dynamite. Expect something far superior.
