How can i know whether crystal report window is closed or not?
I have application in VB 6.0 and Crystal Report. While Calling a trial balance programme i am displaying a crystal report but i want when window is closed then the temporary table should be dropped.
This might be kind of a shoddy way of going about it, but try this:
Use Windows API in VB (DLL Calls and such) to “watch” the window handle of the Crystal Reports window. Use a timer or something like that. You could use the WindowVisible(), I belive. It’s been a while since I’ve programmed in VB. Just run that in a timer every second or so. When the window is not found, then it’s safe to say that it’s been closed. You can then drop the temp. table.
