Why Jehovah's Witnesses see a crucifix (cross) as Pagen when used as jewelry?
I understand the belief that Jesus died on a stake instead of a cross. But what is more important to demonstrate that we are acknowladge death for our sins with the use of a cross around his neck (collar) and be seen as Pagen? I do not think "lean" to a picture to show Pagen recognition of Lord is the death of his only son. (Either game or cross). By Please do not quote the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures, I have witnessed all my life. Give it to me directly!
From what I understand, Witnesses Jehovah believe that any form of religion that has a meaning as such is a form of idolatry. I admit I am not a Jehovah's Witness, and therefore I am the best person to answer, but that's what I get.
