Colorized Christmas
Where can I get the movie “Scrooge”?

This particular movie was made back in the 1930′s. Its the movie The Christmas Carole. But it is titled Scrooge. Its in black and white, never been colorized. they used to air it, but hasn’t been on for the past couple of years. Does anyone know where I can purchase a copy of it?

…you’re in luck; VCI Entertainment, who has over the years, has put out the most definitive and best quality edition of the 1951 version of “A Christmas Carol”, starring Alistar Sim, has recently released a two-disc anniversary special edition; it contains both the original black & white and colorized versions of the film, all sorts of fantastic & interesting extras and special features, as well as an additional version of “…Carol”, the rarely seen 1935 version, starring Seymour Hicks (…hopefully, the one you are referring to). I have included the Amazon webpage, which describes the DVD item, but you can probably get it cheaper, and more local, if you looked (…i.e., Best Buy, Circuit City, Walmart, etc.)
