What does “40.00ctw mixed facets parcel” mean?
I was cleaning out my bathroom drawers and came across a small clear zip lock bag with a Light Blue gem inside. It’s about the size of my pinkie nail. The bag has a barcode on it that says “40.00ctw mixed facets parcel, $59.99.”
What does this mean? I have no clue where it came from either =)
Whatever the bag was used for before: sounds like a mix of gemstones total weight 40 carats, various “cuts’(facets). $59.99 indicates they were probably not real, maybe cubic zirconia. Take the blue stone to a jeweller when they’re not busy and ask what it is.
