Why does my cat rub his head against my new pair of shoes?
My male cat is 2 years old neutered.I bought a new pair of shoes (flats) 2 days ago and since then he has to rub his head against it.He never done that with my other shoes.Has this ever happened? He rubs against me all the time, but my shoes?? New shoes? Maybe it's the first time realized that
Possible reasons: 1. They are leather. Cats often develop an affection for leather. 2. It does not smell you (or him), however, and he is putting his scent on it. 3. There's something about the aroma – materials, dye (colorant may have had a base salt) production, even that could have handled the shoes – that are attracting him to do that. 4.
