buffalo sabres goal horn?
I love the buffalo sabres goal horn, is it a real horn or it it a recording?? I know the old horn at BUffalo memorial auditorium was a real horn, is the current sabers horn a real horn or a recording?????
It sounds a lot louder on TV than it does at the arena, I know that much. I wish it were louder in person. You can barely hear it. If it is a recording, I suppose that’s why it sounds weaker.
I don’t get how it can be a recording though, because it always sounds different, at least to me? Sometimes it blows once, sometimes three very distinct times, sometimes, like when a playoff OT winner is scored, it goes on and on for a minute. I remember once a few years ago when the scorekeeper between the penalty boxes wanted the ref’s attention he blew it for literally one second.
It’s a Kahlenberg model F-3 yacht horn. If I had a yacht, this horn would be on it. Sounds sweet.
