In making jewelry, which is normally used to polish a tarnished look semi-precious stones?
I'm new at this and know almost nothing about Beading or Jewelry however, only one kind of wiring in a local bead store. When I see semi-precious stones, handmade jewelry others the stones are almost always flawless. I bought a small strand of amethyst stones and other parts the other day to start experimenting with. But I realized that amethyst looks dull. I've never seen it looks like dull stones into jewelry etsy or art festivals. There must be a way to polish or shine up? Hopefully in a way that does not require the purchase of more products, including tools and expensive materials, hehe. How I can polish / gloss semi-precious stones? "I can buy some special type of liquid to rub on the stone with a cloth to polish? If so, is there also a special fabric that should be used, or a fine fabric to use? Thanks for your help!
stones used to polish stones in a stone vessel, I am including a link to one so you can see what they look like and how they work, not because I'ma particular, the promotion of this master of fallen stones and used to have a friend who gave me their rejects, I have quite a collection also no polishing cloth, but time-consuming unless the stone is smoothed around the edges
