Baby Blue: the tragedy of a woman
Everybody in this world is passing through certain life experiences that motivate him or her to learn more on it or to solve it. But this can only happen if you are able to identify a problem, or realize that is a problem. One issue that many women experience and do not know is baby blue or postpartum depression.
An interview with my client gave me an idea that many of our women suffer from this tragedy "baby blue "and not even know you have a major impact on mother and baby's development. My patient went through a period after delivery and she remember that sometimes had unusual thoughts or fears, how he felt, if she releases her son, I forget their child in a store, or she can do damage to your own son. These thoughts were too horrible that left me breathless. It is sometimes used to dream that someone has removed his son or she is giving her baby bath and suddenly your baby is out of his hands and went inside the drain. After these types of thought and dream that used to be very anxious, not sleeping, woke up, even when low noise is there. She became overprotective of her son. Sometimes, many commented that her husband, how to know in advance what makes the baby want? Because she was always making fuss over everything, including her husband telling her what to do and what not to do as if her daughter was only his property. After this interview I wanted to learn more about why he had these symptoms, what are the usual risk factors of it?
Baby blue or postpartum depression can occur a few days or even months after any birth, not just the first. It may be baby is, how slight temporary blue or blue after birth, as well as more serious than is the psychotic. In its mild form, is mostly harmless considered unworthy of any treatment and therefore neglected by the individual or family members, which can lead to severe form. According to SI Lusskin and Misri, S baby blue is characterized by feeling of changes in "sleep, energy level, appetite, weight, gastrointestinal function, and libido are the most common symptoms of postpartum blue with additional symptoms such as "significant anxiety often with panic attacks, irritability, intense anger, guilt, sadness, crying, fatigue, loss of interest in usual activities, overwhelmed or unable to care for the baby, feelings of inadequacy or failure as a mother and bonding with baby not, which further aggravates the guilt and shame and makes women suffer in silence. "
Te blue baby prevalence in countries developing is increasing from 16% to 35%. In Pakistan, its prevalence is said to be very high. Several studies have been carried out to obtain the estimated prevalence in relation with this issue in the hospitals of Pakistan, but there are no overall statistics are.
There are many risk factors of postpartum depression some discussed here, such as:
1) In the period after delivery there is no sudden decrease in hormone levels in addition to other risk factors causing postpartum depression. 2) Psychological factors also play a role in postpartum depression. According Rahman.A "in many of the studies of serious complaint reported by new mothers a feeling of inadequacy '"about having children." Other problems arise if the mother is under the age of majority. Trauma delivery and change in their role of stress is given to young mothers. Therefore, the adequacy of prenatal care education is required for visits to doctors and nurses even the husband should be encouraged to attend these sessions. 3) Rahman, A study in a rural community states that "before delivery depression often precedes depression postpartum. More than half of mothers who are depressed in the third trimester of pregnancy, continued to be depressed one year after childbirth. It is important for a health professional to identify the signs of depression in early pregnancy and make interventions that may help prevent postpartum depression. 4). The relationship problem between husband and wife, the husband violence and psychological and physical abuse, especially during pregnancy, lack of empowerment of women leads him to emotional instability and anxiety, which can also add to postpartum depression.
If we see our Pakistani women are not very literate or illiterate and with less power are more likely to have postpartum depression. The woman first confronts her husband who is not very favorable can be the cause of its instability emotional. She is unable to make any decisions, but when it comes time to give birth to a son who will give birth to only male and female no. Not reached waiting for her husband and the law is tortured by the verbal abuse or physical aggression. Living in the joint family system where she is the one that deals the whole family, giving less time for yourself, you could add to his mental stress. It is necessary that a woman does not expect too much of herself. She should express their feelings with your partner. If you do not get overwhelmed by work and do one thing at a time. Get medical help if you identify these emotions. It is necessary that women today must be educated to their physical and mental health. But the question arises: can do anything for herself. Yes you can, but social support she needs love and a certain amount power to make decisions for herself. Couples can play a key role in helping not only the wife's emotional stability, but also in preventing other stressors in life that make them more vulnerable to blue baby.
My recommendations are that we need more studies to be undertaken in future focuses on the prevalence and projection of baby blue. The husband's role in prevention can be studied in great detail. The detection of women's development depressive symptoms after childbirth can be done at the end of pregnancy prenatal care clinics. Finally, I would conclude that the period postnatal is very important due to the impact of maternal depression on infant development. Knowing the risk factors, symptoms can be identified by education early, adequate prenatal care and additional support, love and affection can improve outcomes for mothers and their babies.

What colors go well with Light Blue and Dark Brown?
I'm decorating my living room. My sofa is blue baby and wood at the bottom color is dark brown. I'm trying to understand what other colors along with blue and brown. The carpet in my living room is beige and I can not change because I am renting. I have to choose the curtains and a carpet.
