I live in Pennsylvania. I'm looking to find a sugar glider or hedgehog as a new pet. Where I can buy?
Basically my boyfriend likes any animal, but cats. I currently have 3 cats that I am getting rid of. So now I'm looking for something unique that I can love and appreciate. To the As in my previous question, I would like a sugar glider or a Hedghog. They are so adorable and I am currently looking to find where you cna buy them. Unfortunately I can not travel a lot since I have not a liscensce and therefore I can only make people take me so far to collect anything. I hope to find someone that I can ship through the airport. I could find the closest and collected during the arrival. (I might not be buying this time in terms of price and price of animal shipping or driving to meet a potential seller. (Please help is much appreciated)
Pennsylvania has a specific prohibition of many pets exotic including hedgehogs and sugar gliders. No breeder will sell to an animal within the state. If you had done the research to say whether they were ready to think about buying a pet like this, you should know this now. As rehoming of cats, you should understand that pets are not disposable. By adopting an animal, who promised to give him a forever home, even if any circumstances arise that make it difficult to keep the animal, one can not get rid of them as well. When you bought your cat, I bet it was about what might have something to 'love and care, "but now that the novelty has worn off, you are ready for delivery outside and find something new. What about the new pet when you get bored, or your boyfriend decides he does not like? If you are going to get an exotic pet that their financial situation allows you to take them to the vet when they are sick? Do you even have transportation to get them there? Think about all the time, effort and money spent on pet ownership and commitment for life. It might be better with the fish.
